Nothing is more important to City Apartments than the safety, security and care of guests staying in our properties and apartments. To that end and in accordance with ASAP (Association of Serviced Apartments) guidance we have added a Stay with Confidence Promise which sets out what we are doing to ensure the safety of both our guests and staff whilst remaining open during the current Covid-19 Pandemic.
Along with ASAPs enhanced Covid-19 accreditation we have also constantly adapted procedures in line with government and health authority advice to maintain the highest level of cleanliness and hygiene, whilst continuing to offer the best service in the industry. We still have large team working and more importantly living in the City with each member being accommodated in their own City Apartments apartment
The following are just some of City Apartments enhanced procedures to ensure our guest and staff safety:
All our staff have been trained and have had clear communication on the importance of social distancing between both guests and colleagues
Staff members always carry with them the relevant PPE, including masks, gloves, antibacterial wipes and anti-bacterial hand gel.
All our cleaners wear the relevant PPE whilst working in our buildings
We have enhanced our cleaning processes, including disinfecting all surfaces in apartments and public areas, focusing on frequent cleaning of “high touch” points such as lift buttons, entry panels, door handles as well as sanitising apartment keys.
Healthcare grade Virucidal Disinfectant (Evans – Safe Zone Plus)
On the final pre arrival apartment inspections, which are carried out by both Housekeeping and Guest Services staff, an extensive tick sheet is completed and individually signed to ensure all hygiene methods have been met. This sheet is then left wedged in the front door of the apartment so that the new guest can have complete assurance the apartment has been appropriately cleaned.
Prior to their arrival every guest is contacted and offered a clear self-check-in process but we do also still offer a socially distanced check-in if required wearing the appropriate PPE
Contact free self-check-ins are offered to all new arrivals with clear instructions given to each guest prior to arrival on how to collect keys
Each guest will be able to collect keys from a safe, the sanitised keys will be placed in a sealed plastic bag signed and dated by the member who carried out the sanitisation.
Each building has hand sanitiser stations where guests can use antibacterial gel and/or antibacterial wipes as they wish.
Weekly housekeeping is still offered to guests. The cleaner will be wearing a face mask, gloves and protective equipment on arrival. Where possible, guests are requested to vacate the apartment during the cleaning process. Alternatively, cooperation in maintaining social distancing is requested.
Alternatively linen, towels and cleaning products can be left outside your apartment at an agreed time if you are quarantining or wish to have no face to face contact.
Guest Services Executives are available 24/7 either over the phone or face to face whilst always wearing PPE and following strict social distancing guidelines.
Maintenance requests are being actioned as normal following the same process as the weekly housekeeping. At any one time two City Apartments maintenance engineers are living in our apartments and so on hand to help 24/7
Guests can request masks, gloves, wipes and antibacterial gel when needed, free of charge.
Housekeepers and Guest Services executives are frequently sanitising high touchpoints within the communal areas and ensuring sanitising stations remain well stocked.
A free personal shopping service for the collection and delivery of groceries, medicine etc.
