London Design Festival – 15th-23th September

London Design Festival celebrates and promotes London as the design capital of the world. Now in its sixteen year, the Festival will be returning to venues and institutions across the city.

Explore a range of creative installations and events celebrating a contemporary design. During the festival, hundreds of large-scale installations, exhibitions and events pop up in many unique spaces across London, from world-famous museums to small local studios.

London Design Festival 2018 highlights:

Explore a construction of playful coloured shapes brightening up the office buildings of Broadgate, as graphic artist Camille Walala brings a playground of colours to the City of London with Villa Walala. 15-23Sep

Walk the length of the 21.3m three-dimensional tapestry Tansmission, by British designer Ross Lovegrove, set against the 15th-century hunting tapestries that inspired the commission in the V&A’s Room 94. 15-23 Sep

Spark your imagination with the Design Frontiers group exhibition at Somerset House, showcasing cutting-edge designs in automobile, fashion, graphics and more, which resulted from collaborations between leading designers and their enlightened clients. 15-23 Sep

Immerse yourself in the While We Wait stone structure by Palestinian architects Elias and Yousef Anastas, who took inspiration from the scenic Cremisan Valley, in the V&A’s Gallery 64B. 16-24 Sep
