As of July 2014, City Apartments are pleased to announce our latest exciting development at 2-5 Philpot Lane, Philpot House. Located in the heart of the City opposite the ‘Walkie Talkie’, we have refurbished and connected two existing buildings to create a high quality addition to our portfolio. The building consists of 36 beautiful air conditioned, fully serviced 1 bedroom and studio apartments.
The project was both technically complex and ambitious, connecting two buildings of very different ages and characters: No. 2&3 Philpot Lane, a Grade II listed building constructed in the early C18th, and No. 5, a late C20th office and retail building. This presented a number of complicated physical constraints and heritage considerations, but resulted in an outstanding final product.
